Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a 10-Month Special Education Office Administrative Assistant, where your organizational skills and positive attitude will play a vital role in supporting our special education programs. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative educational environment, ensuring smooth office operations and excellent communication with students, families, and staff. You will be managing daily administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism throughout the school year. Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing inquiries with friendly professionalism Handle multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and relay messages promptly and accurately Maintain organized filing systems for confidential student records, reports, and correspondence Coordinate calendar management for staff schedules, meetings, and appointments Provide exceptional customer service by assisting students, parents, and staff with inquiries and support needs Access billing, PIMS reports, interaction with students and staff Other duties as assigned Skills Strong computer literacy with excellent data entry, typing, and proofreading skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated office management experience including filing, calendar management, and clerical support Exceptional phone etiquette with experience handling multi-line phone systems and client communication Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in record keeping Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills both over the phone and in person Personal assistant or administrative experience preferred to support busy office operations This paid position is integral to ensuring our special education office runs smoothly throughout the school year. Pay:
$16.95 - $17.95 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
