This full-time, Monday through Friday contract role is perfect for compassionate individuals eager to make a meaningful impact in education, particularly within special education settings. Work onsite alongside dedicated educators, helping students with higher needs reach their full potential. Multiple caseloads are available, and you may indicate your preference for working with elementary, middle, or high school students, as well as possibly adult transition students. As part of an all-special-education campus, you will play a vital role in providing day-to-day classroom support, facilitating learning activities, and fostering a positive environment for every learner.

Ideal candidates will bring:

Experience as a paraprofessional or in a supporting role within schools Comfort and enthusiasm for working with special education populations and higher-needs students Ability to specify an age group (elementary, middle, high school, or adult transition) for caseload preference Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Required Pennsylvania clearances (or ability to obtain prior to starting) Willingness and ability to attend onsite interviews and commute daily to the campus

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in classroom management, lesson delivery, and individual student support Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress Provide encouragement, redirection, and behavior management as needed This contract role offers a competitive rate of up to $24 per hour and the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in students lives each day.
