Key Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, especially within school environments Familiarity with supporting pediatric populations in educational settings Ability to provide one-on-one assistance tailored to individual student needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and staff Adaptable, patient, and compassionate demeanor suited for working with children requiring dedicated attention

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, individualized support to assigned students throughout the school day Assist with academic tasks, classroom participation, and social integration Implement strategies outlined in students individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher supervision Foster a safe and encouraging atmosphere, promoting student independence and confidence Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistency in educational approaches Monitor student progress and communicate observations to relevant team members
