Magic World is looking for an upbeat, hardworking individual who enjoys being a team player! We are an establishment that treats employees like family and is devoted to making work a place you enjoy. We are seeking someone with open (or mostly open) availability between the hours of 6am-6pm. Shifts range between 6-10 hours a day. 2 years of child care experience preferred but not required. Essential Responsibilities:
Learning & Development Plan and provide age-appropriate learning activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Follow the center's curriculum and lesson plans. Engage children in activities such as art, music, books, sensory play, science, math, dramatic play, and hands-on learning. Encourage children's independence, creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Child Care & Daily Routines Provide attentive and responsive care to all children. Maintain active supervision of children at all times. Assist children with daily routines, including meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, handwashing, nap/rest time, and dressing. Provide comfort, encouragement, and positive guidance when children need support. Promote positive behavior and help children develop appropriate social skills. Maintain accurate daily records, including attendance, meals, diapering/toileting, incidents, and other required documentation. Communicate respectfully and professionally with families and coworkers. Classroom Cleaning & Organization Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom throughout the day. Clean and sanitize toys, tables, chairs, high-touch surfaces, and classroom materials as required. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and assist with other classroom cleaning duties. Complete end-of-day classroom cleaning and closing responsibilities.
