Wilkinsburg, PA Schedule :
Mon.-Fri., 7:30am-4pm; plus 8 weekend hours per month
Salary :
$15.50 and up per hour (more based on verifiable caregiving experience)

Summary :
Aides are responsible for providing assistance to elderly participants with activities of daily living, recreational activities and performing personal care services in our Adult Day Center and, as needed, their place of residence.
Required Education:
High school diploma or
GED Required Licensure:
Valid PA Driver's license and reliable vehicle
Required Experience:
Caregiving experience is preferred.
Required Skills :
Discretion, tact, patience, and good judgment. Empathetic and compassionate attitude in caring for the elderly. Ability to understand and carry out non-technical verbal and written directions, record messages, and keep records. Ability to get along well with others and gain the cooperation of the participants. Physical and emotional ability to carry out assigned tasks. Routine work involving the personal care and program activities of participants.
