• Assist in teaching courses Preparing instructional materials Managing Canvas site Give laboratory or clinical demonstrations Prepare, administer, and grade subjective and objective examinations and assignments Lecture and lead laboratory and recitation sections. • Undergraduate student in good academic standing with knowledge of the subject matter OR Non-UM Student with a Bachelor's or Master's degree This position is not open to current University of Michigan graduate students 1+ years of experience in an administrative or program support role, especially in higher education. Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours to support events. Must have a basic understanding of web accessibility guidelines. Grading experience Some knowledge of social media/online communities. Course Description This course introduces students to social science concepts and theories related to social media and online communities, such as identity and self-presentation, and some principles of designing online communities.
