Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning in preschool, and after school settings. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson plans, and educational exercises tailored to early childhood development. Support children with their individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring inclusive participation. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to promote safety and well-being. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional growth. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety standards. Provide basic childcare duties such as diapering, infant care routines, and toddler care as needed. Support emergency procedures including first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety of all children at all times. Skills Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members.
