MI School in Riverside, RI is looking for a full-time Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our warm, creative, and supportive team. We are a bilingual English-Mandarin early learning center serving children from infancy through preschool. Our Preschool classroom is full of curious learners who love to explore, build, create, ask questions, and discover how the world works. At MI School, learning might look like building a robot one day, measuring with math cubes the next, creating recycled art, learning Mandarin songs, experimenting with science, or programming a BeeBot across the classroom floor. We believe preschool should be joyful, meaningful, and full of discovery. What you'll do: Work alongside our Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom Support daily learning activities, routines, meals, transitions, and outdoor play Help children develop social-emotional, language, math, early literacy, and STEAM skills Participate in art, music, science, movement, and hands-on projects Build warm relationships with children and families Bring your own creativity, interests, and personality to the classroom We would love to meet you if you: Genuinely enjoy working with preschool-age children Are patient, dependable, caring, and energetic Work well as part of a team Are willing to learn and grow as an early childhood educator Have childcare or preschool experience — preferred, but strong candidates who are eager to learn are welcome Have Early Childhood Education coursework or training — a plus Why MI School?
