Full-time contract opportunities are currently available, with positions set to run through June 2027. You'll play a crucial role on an ABA team, making a daily impact and collaborating alongside experienced educators. Preferred qualifications and experience:
At least one year of hands-on behavioral support experience, especially in a school setting. High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a RIDE-approved Teacher Assistant Training Program (unless exempt via advanced degree). One of the following academic requirements: passing ParaPathways Assessment scores (332+ Reading/Writing, 334+ Math), OR 48+ college credits, OR an Associate's degree or higher. Completion of a National BCI is strongly preferred for faster onboarding. Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing classroom needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting implementation of ABA strategies, behavior plans, and instructional tasks. Partnering with teachers, therapists, and other classroom staff. Providing 1:1 or small group assistance to students, fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere. Documenting student progress and supporting communication with families as needed.
