9707351-02886 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting PreK and elementary students in a classroom environment. This contract position is based onsite near Warwick, RI, and runs from ASAP through mid-June 2027, with regular school hours from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 31.25 hours each week. As a paraprofessional, youll play an active role in shaping young learners days, especially those with developmental disabilities (DD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or who are within behavior-focused classroom settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous work as a paraprofessional or similar role within a school environment Solid, hands-on experience with children who have DD, ASD, or behavioral needs Comfortable working onsite in dynamic classroom settings Team-oriented, proactive, and able to adapt to diverse student needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers and staff Certification required per state/regional guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers with classroom management and student engagement Provide individualized or group support to enhance educational outcomes Help implement behavioral strategies and support plans Monitor students safety and participation in both instruction and daily routines Document student progress and effectively share observations with the educational team Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students Enjoy making a meaningful difference every school day in a supportive community dedicated to student growth.
