A contract paraprofessional opportunity is now available near Warwick, RI, with assignments running through June 10th, 2027. With a schedule of 32 hours per week, you'll help create an inclusive and positive atmosphere, working alongside dedicated educators and staff.

Key Qualifications:

Must hold a valid RI Teacher Assistant (TA) Certification or be a CNA with recent experience in school settings Strong communication skills and a supportive, professional demeanor Demonstrated ability to foster student engagement and build rapport within diverse classrooms Collaborative approach to working with teachers and administrators Reliable, punctual, and committed to the entire duration of the assignment

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students, including academic assistance, behavioral guidance, and classroom facilitation Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and preparation of instructional materials Support students with special needs, helping to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed Monitor students during transitions, meal times, and other non-classroom activities Maintain accurate, confidential records and keep clear lines of communication with educators and families Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills
