In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a dynamic, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development. Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior, encouraging cooperation, and maintaining a structured learning environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking across various subjects such as language arts, math, and science. Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and transitions to ensure safety at all times. Collaborate with teachers to adapt instructional strategies for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Maintain organized classroom materials and assist in preparing educational resources that support curriculum development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about daily activities and children's progress to foster strong home-school connections. Requirements Completion of the Early Childhood Education Credential (ECD 101) Previous experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members. Ability to assist with lesson planning and classroom management techniques tailored for preschool-aged students. Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus. Technical proficiency in using educational tools or digital resources to enhance learning experiences.
