Teacher Assistant 190-day position
Base Salary:
$21,874 base salary (based on education and teacher assistant experience)

Qualifications:
Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education or An associate degree (or higher) OR Item (1) High School Diploma or the equivalent AND Item (2) Ready to Work Credentials

  • Copy of WIN Assessment – minimum of Level 3 certification or
  • ParaPro
  • Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide classroom teaching assistance Provide supervision of students at all times Maintain a positive classroom environment Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required Adhere to district dress code policies Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records Positively supports all facets of student growth and development Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds Perform other duties as assigned A complete application packet must be submitted through the online application system prior to the closing date in order to be considered for this position. ALL of the following requirements must be submitted before the posted deadline: 1. Classified Employment Application 2. Three (3) Classified Employment References (Included in Application and will be emailed to references) 3. Copy of qualifying credentials as listed above a.) College Degree or Transcript showing sixty (60) or more credit hours OR b.) High School Diploma or equivalent AND WIN or Parapro
