Teachers and Assistant Teachers will provide high-quality care and education to children ranging from infants to school age, ensuring a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate environment. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain daily schedules, including meals, naps, and structured learning. Support positive behavior management and model respectful communication. Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care needs (as applicable by age group). Keep classrooms clean, organized, and aligned with licensing and health standards. Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow staff. Observe and document developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing requirements. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support center-wide needs. Requirements Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create inclusive learning environments that support all students.
Compensation:
Assistant Teacher positions start at $13/hour , and Lead Teacher positions start at $16/hour . Starting pay is based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications.
