Full-Time Position Overview:

Pleasant View School is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver / Teacher Assistant . This dual-role position is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while also supporting classroom operations during non-driving hours. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and committed to student safety and support.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license CDL with required "P" (Passenger) endorsement Clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Experience working with children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with staff

Bus Driver Responsibilities:

Safely transport students to and from school following assigned routes and schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections Maintain student safety and appropriate behavior on the bus Adhere to all local, state, and school transportation regulations Report any incidents, delays, or concerns promptly Teacher Assistant Responsibilities (Between Routes): Serve as a Teacher Assistant between morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up hours Support classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks Assist with student supervision in classrooms, hallways, lunch, and recess Provide support to individual students or small groups as directed Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment

Work Schedule:
