Full Circle Specialized Program Assistant Position Type:
Part-time Pay Range starts at $16 per hour (or more depending on experience) Are you passionate about helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disorders thrive? The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is seeking a UPDATED - Full Circle Specialized Program Assistant for our Full Circle Program. Bring your unique skills and enthusiasm to lead high-quality, engaging classes that foster technical skills, character development, and fun!
What You'll Do:
Teach skills and activities related to your area of expertise, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or special education Lead dynamic, safe, and educational classes tailored to participants' needs Build meaningful relationships with participants, encouraging interaction and growth Address behavioral or sensory challenges calmly and effectively Work closely with parents, participants, and team members to deliver an outstanding program experience
What You'll Bring:
Minimum Age:
18 College degree or life experience in relevant fields (e.g., therapy, education) Minimum 2 years of experience in your specialty area Enthusiasm for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disorders Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Certifications Required:
