In this dynamic position, you will support the development of preschool children by implementing engaging curriculum, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborating with families and staff to promote optimal growth. Whether you're guiding toddlers through their first classroom experiences or assisting lead teachers with lesson plans, your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire a love of learning from the very start.   • Twos Duties Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards.
Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, managing routines, and maintaining a safe, organized environment for children. Engage children in activities that foster childhood development, including play-based learning, early intervention strategies, and Montessori methods when applicable. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong home-school connections. Help supervise daily activities such as circle time, outdoor play, nap times, and snack breaks while ensuring adherence to health and safety policies including first aid and CPR protocols. Support special education needs by assisting with individualized instruction plans and behavior management strategies tailored to each child's unique requirements. Maintain detailed records of children's progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws and childcare regulations. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within an educational environment are required. Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus. Previous classroom experience involving toddler care or working within private school settings will strengthen your application.
