Your hands-on support will help students with a range of needs. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans across subjects such as literacy, math, and social skills, ensuring activities are engaging and accessible for all students Provide physical assistance and behavioral support to students Support classroom management by reinforcing behavior expectations and implementing behavior management strategies Maintain confidentiality of student information Assist in lesson planning and preparation to ensure a smooth daily routine that promotes early childhood development and literacy education Support classroom organization, including setting up learning stations, managing supplies, and maintaining a safe environment aligned with Montessori or preschool standards Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, classroom support, and documentation of student progress Compassionate attitude towards children's individual needs; ability to handle confidential information responsibly Physical ability to assist students physically when necessary; patience and flexibility are key qualities for success in this role This paid position offers an enriching environment where your dedication helps shape young minds.
