Job Description Position:
Teacher's Assistant/ GED Coordinator General Responsibilities:
This person will assist the teachers with the delivery of classroom instruction, as well as small group and individual instruction for students needing extra guidance and support as deemed necessary. This person may also assist with the scheduling needs of the students.
Duties:
  • Assist in maintaining enrollment and attendance records.
  • Assist with classroom instruction.
  • Assist with college information.
  • Teach GED classes
  • Submit and obtain GED waivers.
  • Schedule residents who meet criteria for GED testing.
  • Participate in staff development activities.
  • Help maintain all files and records.
  • Perform various tasks in direct support of the teaching/learning process.
  • Other job related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
