Hours/Week Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Behavioral Support Paraprofessionals (BSP/Para) to join a supportive school team for the 20262027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity offering 35 hours per week and the opportunity to support students in a structured school environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students, providing behavioral and classroom support, and collaborating with teachers and school staff to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. This position is being pipelined for upcoming job orders, with opportunities becoming available as district needs arise.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and/or classroom support to students as needed Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Implement behavioral strategies and interventions under the direction of school staff Support students with classroom activities, routines, and transitions Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Monitor and reinforce appropriate student behaviors Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success Assist with daily classroom and student management responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by school administration

Qualifications:

Does not have to be fluent in ASL but must have basic signing skills Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Previous experience working with children in a school or behavioral support setting preferred Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to support students with behavioral and academic needs Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to working with students
