Job Description

Luminary Montessori is a new, authentic Montessori school opening in January 2027 in Hendersonville, Tennessee — serving children from 10 weeks to six years in a beautiful, purpose-built facility, with the operational excellence of the best programs. January 2027, ahead of our January 2027 opening
ROLE SUMMARY
Support the lead teacher and the children throughout the day — helping maintain a calm, ordered, prepared environment and warm care routines — with a genuine path into Montessori practice and a fully funded route to your own credential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support lessons, transitions, meals, naps, and daily care routines Help maintain a clean, orderly, and beautiful classroom, restoring the environment throughout the day so every material is ready for the next child Follow the lead teacher's guidance on when to step in — and, just as importantly, when to leave a child's concentration undisturbed Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families Observe alongside the lead teacher and grow into Montessori practice through on-the-job mentoring and formal training Support supervision, health, safety, and ratios across the day
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required A genuine love for young children; reliable, collaborative, and calm under pressure Willingness to pursue a CDA and/or a Montessori credential — we fund and support this Experience in early childhood or group care preferred Comfortable taking direction from a lead teacher and working as part of a classroom team
