Job Description

Key Responsibilities Classroom Instruction:
Assist the Lead Teacher in executing age-appropriate early childhood activities and lesson plans.
Student Engagement:
Facilitate activities that promote holistic student development (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical).
Inclusive Support:
Provide tailored, one-on-one support for students with diverse developmental needs and learning styles.
Behavior Management:
Reinforce daily classroom routines and implement positive behavior management strategies.
Progress Tracking:
Assist in observing student behavior, documenting developmental milestones, and drafting progress reports.
Parent Communication:
Support consistent, professional communication between the classroom and families.
Environment & Safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space while strictly adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Professional Development:
Attend and engage in all mandatory staff meetings, trainings, and workshops.
Requirements Age/Education:
18+ years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
Prior professional experience in a childcare or preschool setting is required.
Licensing:
DHS Training. Pay Rate $14.00 - $16.00/hour (commensurate with experience and education level).
