In this rewarding role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. Responsibilities Assist in supervising and caring for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and emotional development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that meets health and safety standards Follow established routines for feeding, diapering, nap times, and play to provide consistency and comfort for infants Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and needs Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and social interactions among children Adhere to all mandated reporting laws and health protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Skills Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred) to ensure quick response to emergencies Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with parents effectively Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Embark on a fulfilling career where your nurturing spirit can shine!
