Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Two Year Old Teacher! In this dynamic role, you'll play a vital part in nurturing the growth, curiosity, and development of toddlers during their foundational years. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a safe, engaging, and loving environment where young children can thrive. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities tailored for two-year-olds Supervise and engage children during playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and positive behavior Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining a clean, inviting environment Foster social-emotional development by encouraging sharing, cooperation, and communication among children Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Follow all mandated reporting laws and health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for children Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and developmental growth Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is a plus Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and consistency Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports childhood development and toddler care Join us to inspire young minds through energetic teaching, compassionate supervision, and dedicated support! Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
