Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing Montessori lessons and activities. Prepare and organize Montessori classroom materials. Foster a warm, welcoming, and nurturing classroom environment. Support the developmental and educational needs of toddlers. Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Assist with diaper changing and other personal care needs as required. Model respectful and positive interactions with children, families, and coworkers. Maintain classroom cleanliness by wiping tables and shelves, sweeping, organizing materials, and monitoring children's cubbies. Complete additional classroom duties as assigned. Qualifications Passion for working with young children. Willingness to learn Montessori philosophy and teaching practices. Warm, patient, and engaging personality. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Professional, dependable, and positive attitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to remain on your feet for most of the workday. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass fingerprint/background clearance. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children. Montessori classroom experience. Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE accredited). Mandarin Chinese speaking ability is a plus.
