Covenant Presbyterian Preschool and Child's Day Out is seeking an experienced, energetic team player to join our 50-year program for the upcoming school year. This position combines classroom support with playground supervision and maintenance to help ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for children.Schedule:
Part-time, 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 3 days per week Follows the AISD school calendar (through end of May) Training hours are compensated.Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Serve as floater supporting classrooms as needed (Toddler-Preschool) Relieve staff and assist with daily classroom coverage Communicate with teachers regarding supply needs Support indoor activities and rainy-day room setup Serve as playground monitor for the Five-Year-Old class Conduct daily playground safety checks Maintain playground cleanliness and organization Set up age-appropriate outdoor centers Ensure first aid kits meet TxDFPS requirementsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (Teaching Certificate preferred) 2+ years of experience in a group childcare or classroom setting Commitment to developmentally appropriate, play-based practice Creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic attitude We value excellence, teamwork, and strong relationships with children and families.Similar remote jobs
