Part-Time (On-Site / Not Remote) About the Role We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and dependable Kumon Instructional Assistant/Grader to join our team at Cedar Park-Central Kumon. In this role, you will work directly with students to guide them through self-learning techniques, evaluate classwork in real time, and maintain accurate student records. Schedule & Hours This position is 100% in-person at our center (not remote). Candidates must be available to work the following weekly hours:

Mondays:

12:30 PM

PM Key Responsibilities Student Guidance:

Work directly with students as they complete math and reading worksheets, guiding them through self-learning techniques and encouraging independent problem-solving without giving away answers.

Grading & Assessment:

Promptly and accurately grade student classwork and homework using answer keys to provide immediate feedback.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of completed worksheets, scores, and student progress in the center's tracking system.

Classroom Setup & Support:

Help organize instructional materials, prepare student study folders, and keep the center environment clean, structured, and free of distractions.

Student Encouragement:

Foster confidence, daily discipline, and strong study habits through positive reinforcement and patient support. Qualifications & Skills Kumon Experience (Preferred): Prior experience as a Kumon student, or status as a Kumon Program Completer, is strongly preferred.

Strong Core Skills:

Proficiency in basic math and reading concepts. High Attention to

Detail:

Exceptional precision and speed when grading papers and recording scores.

Patience & Communication:

Warm, encouraging demeanor with children ranging from early learners to young teens.

Reliability:

Strict punctuality and consistent attendance during assigned center hours.

Adaptability:

Comfort managing multiple students working at different paces in a lively classroom setting.
