Job Description

Toddler Assistant Guide (18-36 Months) Montessori of Cedar Park - Cedar Park, TX Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Montessori of Cedar Park is seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Assistant Guide to join our Montessori community. This position supports children ages 18 to 36 months in a carefully prepared environment that fosters independence, confidence, and a love of learning. If you enjoy working with young children, value teamwork, and are passionate about early childhood education, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Support the Lead Guide in maintaining an authentic Montessori classroom. Assist with supervising and engaging children throughout the day. Help prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning environment. Assist with diapering, toileting, handwashing, and other daily care routines while promoting children's independence. Support meal and snack times following health and safety guidelines. Observe and encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a positive, respectful, and nurturing classroom atmosphere. Communicate professionally with team members and families. Follow all licensing regulations and school policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with toddlers (18-36 months) is a must. Montessori experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Must be dependable, patient, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day. Must pass all required background checks and meet Texas childcare licensing requirements.
