Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students by working in an educational setting as an ASL Paraprofessional. This position offers stability throughout the school year and consistent hours each week. Your responsibilities will focus on providing in-class assistance, supporting both instructional and communication needs through American Sign Language. You will collaborate closely with teachers, ensuring students receive the guidance necessary to excel academically and socially. Assignments will take place at one location, to be selected based on current needs.

Key Qualifications:

Must meet one of the following: Associate's degree or higher At least 48 college semester hours from a recognized agency and completion of the paraeducator course (Stedi.org) with a minimum passing score of 70% Relevant pediatric or school-based experience working with children with hearing loss

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree Successful completion of background check/fingerprinting Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience supporting students with hearing loss
