The ideal candidate will be adaptable, nurturing, and experienced in creating engaging learning environments for young children. This role involves providing coverage across multiple classrooms, assisting with curriculum development, and ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere that promotes childhood development and learning. A strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and child welfare is essential to support our students' growth and well-being. Responsibilities Provide high-quality instruction and care across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten students. Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior and promoting social-emotional development. Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and physical exercises to promote overall development. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure consistency in teaching practices and classroom routines. Support special education initiatives such as early intervention programs and behavior management strategies. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Help with snack preparation Help with staffing breaks Help with keeping the building clean and organized Requirements Experience working with children across various age groups in daycare or preschool settings. Knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Background in early childhood education or related fields such as special education or literacy education preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and engage effectively with children and parents. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support multiple teachers as needed. Passion for fostering a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare, learning readiness, and social-emotional growth.
