Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a paraprofessional supporting a 2nd-grade student in a school setting. Work closely with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful difference in a young learner's academic and developmental journey. This position offers a focused caseload and a consistent weekly schedule, ideal for professionals eager to provide direct support in a structured environment.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a school paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to follow the guidance and plans developed by a BCBA Passion for working with elementary-aged students Patience, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed
Primary Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with a 2nd-grade student, providing individualized support during scheduled sessions Implement behavioral or learning strategies as directed by the BCBA Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress with supervising staff Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for the student Participate in relevant training or consultations as needed
Role Details:
Contract position with a start date as soon as possible and extending through May 21, 2027 Located near Garland, with sessions at a Dallas-based campus Dedicated to a single student, ensuring personalized and consistent support
Schedule:
