Our client is looking for fun, passionate, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their Brand New Preschool in Hewitt, TX . The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable diapering and toilet training. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Monday - Friday; year-round employment Full time and part time opportunities available!
Open Positions Lead and Assistant Infant Teacher:
working with children 6 weeks to 12 months
Lead and Assistant Toddler Teacher:
working with children 1 to 2 years old
Lead and Assistant Preschool Teacher:
working with children 3 to 4 years old
Floater:
working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old Salary for Assistant Teacher $17.00 - $18.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Salary for Lead Teacher $19.00 - $20.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits Medical/dental/vision insurance Life insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 403B with Match Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Assist the Lead Teacher with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as assisting with the maintenance of educational portfolios Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Qualifications
REQUIRED
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma; CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience preferred.
REQUIRED
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility Don't meet every qualification? That's okay!
