About the Role We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Medical Assistant Instructor to provide comprehensive instruction in both the administrative and clinical components of medical assisting. This role is responsible for preparing aspiring medical assistants with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in a variety of healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will cultivate a positive, structured, and safe learning environment while delivering high-quality lecture and hands-on clinical instruction. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and adherence to educational and regulatory standards.

Schedule:
Typically Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (12 days per class cohort, monthly) What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive instruction in medical assisting, including both administrative and clinical skills (vital signs, injections, EKG, phlebotomy, patient care, and medical office procedures) Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Manage onsite inventory and supplies Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards State Qualifications Instructors shall hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in the area of teaching responsibility, or demonstrate appropriate training or experience related to the responsibilities of the position as determined by the commission. Have 5 years minimum of administrative or management full time work experience in the field which he/she is teaching. Have 5 years minimum full time work experience within the last 10 years in the field which he/she is teaching OR; Completed a training or degree program in the applicable occupational area with minimum documented experience of 4 years Completed a high school or GED Director shall be available to travel to the campus as needed for regulatory and operational matters. The work experience MUST be within the last 5 years. Required Qualifications Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) High school diploma or equivalent Relevant occupational work experience in medical assisting Strong communication and instructional skills Reliable transportation A secure address to receive inventory shipments Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Proficiency with technology, including iPads, mirror casting, and basic troubleshooting Professional demeanor and effective classroom management skills Additional Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy and EKG knowledge and work experience Prior teaching or training experience Documents Required Upon Application Current CMA Certification Postsecondary School completion Current resume
