Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster developmental growth, encourage curiosity, and promote positive social interactions among preschoolers and toddlers. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Support children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, handwashing, and personal hygiene practices Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Follow all mandated reporting laws and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized strategies under supervision of certified staff Skills Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and pediatric first aid required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and children in a positive manner Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining flexibility and enthusiasm for early childhood education This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while developing their teaching skills.
