The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social skills while ensuring the individual needs of each child are met. The Pre-K Teacher will play a crucial role in supporting childhood development and preparing students for their future educational journeys. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and learning. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Create engaging activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices in teaching methodologies. Support children with special needs or disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, through tailored instructional strategies. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment while adhering to daycare regulations. Experience Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and behavior management techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating flexibility in teaching approaches.
