Position Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our team! This individual will work closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom environment. The ideal candidate loves working with children, thrives in a team setting, and brings enthusiasm and creativity to daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lessons and classroom activities Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment Interact positively and respectfully with children, families, and teammates Foster a fun and engaging classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued Encourage age-appropriate learning through play, conversation, and guided activities Help with meal times, diapering/potty routines, and transitions throughout the day Observe and report any concerns about a child's development or behavior to the Lead Teacher Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Previous experience working with young children preferred Must meet any state licensing requirements for background checks and training Strong communication and teamwork skills A cheerful, patient, and playful demeanor Must be able to drive a small bus (no CDL required) Why Join Us?
