Job Summary Teacher's Assistant - Preschool First Christian Church Preschool (FCCP) is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Teacher's Assistant to join our team. This position supports the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, faith-based learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

Assist with classroom routines, learning activities, meals, toileting, and transitions Actively supervise and engage with children throughout the day Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Support positive behavior guidance and individual student needs Communicate professionally with teachers, families, and administrators Follow all FCCP policies and Texas childcare licensing standards Participate in required training and staff meetings

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED Previous childcare or preschool experience is preferred Must be dependable, patient, attentive, and willing to work as part of a team Must pass all required background checks Must be able to lift children, sit on the floor, and remain active throughout the day CPR and First Aid certification is preferred; training may be provided

Schedule:
