Mesquite West High School Campus Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Teacher Assistant to join our team at Legacy Preparatory - Mesquite West High School Campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information technology and be able to assist in the delivery of high-quality education to our students.
Responsibilities:
Assist the IT teacher in preparing and delivering lessons to students. Help in the development and implementation of IT curriculum. Provide technical support and guidance to students during practical sessions. Assist in grading assignments and providing constructive feedback to students. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT trends and advancements. Ensure all IT equipment is in good working condition and report any faults to the relevant department.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of information technology principles and applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to explain complex IT concepts in an understandable manner. Patience and a passion for teaching.
Qualifications:
Have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent and meet one of the following requirements: Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (defined as completion of 48 semester hours or equivalent trimester hours) of college coursework or an applicable number of semester hours as defined by the institution of higher education attended, whichever is less; Possess an associate (or higher) degree; or Meet a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a local academic assessment—Knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics; or Knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate.
Pay:
From $22,000.00 per year
