Job Overview Go-n-Play Daycare in Montgomery is looking for a dependable, motivated, and experienced childcare professional who is eager to learn and is ready to take the next step in their childcare career! The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm. We are seeking someone who leads by example, takes initiative, supports their team, and genuinely cares about providing a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children. This position offers the opportunity to grow into an Assistant Director role for the right individual.

Position Responsibilities:

Assist the Director with daily childcare center operations. Support teachers with classroom management, routines, and daily responsibilities. Help maintain compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing standards. Assist with parent communication and addressing concerns professionally. Support staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and daily transitions. Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming environment. Step into classrooms and assist wherever needed. Demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and teamwork.

Previous childcare experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Someone who takes initiative without constantly needing direction. Willingness to work alongside teachers and help wherever needed.
