The Village Play Café is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic team member to lead engaging classes while helping create an exceptional experience for families. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, is creative, dependable, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. Responsibilities Lead fun, interactive classes for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Help research and develop new class ideas and seasonal activities Set up and clean up before and after classes Engage with children and families during open play Provide excellent customer service Assist with café and front desk tasks as needed Help keep the play café clean, organized, and welcoming Fill in during busy periods and special events when needed

Schedule Required Fridays:

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Preferred Availability on weekdays and occasional weekends Additional weekday shifts available as business grows, especially during September and October Qualifications Experience working with young children is preferred (daycare, preschool, nannying, teaching, camps, church nursery, babysitting, etc.) Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable leading groups Dependable and punctual Organized with attention to detail Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Friendly, positive attitude Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and actively playing with children Pay Starting at $10.50 per hour Performance-based raises and growth opportunities are available as our business expands.
