Fast growing, high performing Wize Computing Academy is hiring part-time instructors and teaching assistants to lead fun, hands-on coding, robotics, 3D design , and other STEAM classes for elementary and middle school students. This is an ideal opportunity for: University students pursuing STEM or education careers Elementary teachers looking for supplemental income Stay-at-home parents wanting flexible, rewarding work Substitute teachers seeking consistent part-time hours Full-time professionals or retirees ready to give back Responsibilities Effectively manage a classroom with children ages between 5 yrs to 14 yrs old. Engage students in fun and relevant coding & robotics lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needs Observe and track students' progress and attendance Reinforce positive student behavior and session rules Maintain a positive relationship with all students, families and staff Communicate with management to discuss member progress, needs, and concerns. Qualifications Experience with elementary-aged children preferred Currently pursuing or holding a college degree Reliable transportation (most locations not near public transit) Dependable, punctual, and adaptable Able to pass a background check Tech-savvy or willing to learn (we provide training)
