Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a school van to transport kids from local schools to our campus. Assist children in and out of vehicles when needed, ensures that appropriate seat restraints are used where applicable, and escorts children when needed.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pick up and drop off the kids
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including fuel consumption, and pick up times
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, passengers, and other road users. Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times
  • Supervises a class with teacher, team or individually and implements daily curriculum. Plans with co-teacher and helps implement the daily lesson plan and classroom activities.
  • Assists and coordinates snacks, and bathroom activities.
  • Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, and common use areas and playground.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and must be able to go through a background check
  • Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role, and have reliable transportation and car insurance.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage pick up schedules and maintain accurate records

WORK HOURS
would be typically between 2:50PM to 4:00 (or 6:30pm as needed) Monday-Friday. Must be over 20 yrs of age and should have clean background and driving records, must be a responsible, safe driver and punctuality is a must. 2 Years of experience required driving kids.
