This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children, supporting teachers, and helping create a positive, safe, and nurturing school environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, responsible, and ready to jump in wherever needed while building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for Explorer students. Support classroom teachers with daily routines, transitions, activities, and supervision. Assist with school opening, closing, and general school-support duties as needed. Drive the school van for scheduled transportation, field trips, or school-related activities. Complete required vehicle and transportation safety checks. Maintain a clean and organized classroom and school environment. Follow all Primrose policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines. Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, and team members. Be flexible and willing to assist in various classrooms and areas of the school.

Qualifications:

Previous childcare or classroom experience preferred. Must meet all state and Primrose requirements for employment. Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Must be comfortable driving the school van and transporting children. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Must have a positive attitude and a genuine love for children.
