The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and helps provide a safe, caring, and positive environment for children. Assist with classroom activities and lessons, supervise children throughout the day, help with meals and daily routines, prepare classroom materials, maintain a clean and organized classroom, support positive behavior, and follow all childcare center safety procedures. Must enjoy working with children, be dependable and patient, have good communication skills, and be able to follow instructions and work well with others. Previous childcare experience preferred. Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required. HS/GED with 3 years' experience required Bilingual candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills in two languages are preferred.
