Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting passengers, including children, to various destinations while ensuring a secure and comfortable experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a clean driving record, along with CPR and First Aid certification. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to community safety and service in a professional environment. Responsibilities Safely operate the bus to transport passengers, including children, to designated locations according to scheduled routes. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit by adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Assist with boarding and disembarking passengers, providing support as needed, especially for children or individuals requiring assistance. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Follow all safety procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols, to respond effectively in emergencies. Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, school staff, or coordinators regarding schedules or any issues that arise during transit. Keep accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during shifts. Experience Prior experience working with children is preferred and highly valued. No Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required; however, candidates must have a clean driving record. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or must be obtained prior to employment. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to safety are essential qualities for success in this role.
