Job Summary We are looking for a flexible, dependable, and nurturing professional to join our team as a Float Teacher. In this role, you will be the "heart" of our center, ensuring our lead teachers can take well-deserved breaks and that our classrooms remain fully staffed when a team member is away. You will move between different age groups, from infants to preschoolers, providing consistent care and support wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Coverage:

Step into various classrooms to provide scheduled breaks for teachers and fill in for staff who have scheduled time off.

Support Classroom Routines:

Assist with daily activities, including meals, snacks, rest periods, and outdoor play.

Maintain Ratios:

Ensure that appropriate adult-to-child ratios are always upheld according to licensing regulations.

Care & Supervision:

Help children with personal hygiene, diapering, and toilet training as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Follow the lead teacher's established routines and curriculum to provide a seamless transition for the children.

Cleanliness:

Help maintain a safe and sanitized classroom environment by assisting with organization and cleanup.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Ability to adapt quickly to different age groups and classroom dynamics. Must pass a comprehensive background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
