Resume Position Overview The Aide - Preschool supports instructional programs within preschool classrooms by assisting teachers with instruction, supervising students, supporting the implementation of IEP goals, and helping maintain safe and effective classroom environments. Key Responsibilities Adapt classroom activities and materials under teacher direction to reinforce learning objectives. Assist medically fragile or physically disabled students with personal care and hygiene needs. Provide immediate first aid or medical assistance when directed by healthcare professionals. Assist teachers in implementing behavioral or instructional plans developed by IEP teams. Monitor students during classroom and school activities to maintain a safe environment. Provide individual and small-group instruction to support academic, social, and daily living skills. Maintain instructional materials and classroom records. Communicate with teachers and support personnel regarding student progress. Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to job responsibilities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Work Environment Work requires frequent interaction with preschool students and may include lifting, assisting students with mobility, and supervising classroom activities.
