Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
We are looking for a homeschool assistant teacher to teach science, geography, play math games and explore child led topics with a fourth grade boy. We want to hire someone who is passionate about play based learning and hands-on teaching. This position would be perfect for a current FCHD or Early Childhood Education student attending USU.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create lessons plans for a variety of science topics including experiments and other hands on activities
- Create lesson plans to explore geography and culture through books, maps, cooking, art etc
- Assist child in learning about a topic of his choice including a capstone project for each topic
- Play math games to reinforce math concepts and make math fun
- Other miscellaneous tasks like rotating out books, organizing supplies etc
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0- 10.
