Position Overview We are currently hiring for a Part-Time SPED Secretary , with the potential to combine this role with a Part-Time Paraeducator position for a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity. SPED Secretary (Part-Time) As a key support role within our Special Education Department, the SPED Secretary will: Manage student records and ensure compliance with all special education documentation requirements. Coordinate department communications and scheduling. Maintain organized and accurate data systems. Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and other stakeholders to support students with disabilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting student success. Paraeducator (Part-Time) Paraeducators work directly with students and classroom mentors to support learning and foster academic growth.
Responsibilities include:
Providing direct instructional support to students with special needs under the direction and supervision of the special educaiton teacher. Tutoring students in reading, writing, math, and study skills. Tracking student progress and assisting in data collection. Maintaining regular communication with parents, mentors, and team members.
