Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's safety and well-being. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, and foundational skills aligned with early childhood standards. Support classroom management strategies to maintain a positive, respectful, and behaviorally appropriate environment Supervise children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Maintain classroom organization and building cleanliness Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom environments Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom behavior management strategies Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers and parents Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Demonstrated ability to supervise children safely while fostering independence and curiosity This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to contribute to early childhood development in a supportive environment.
